what is a good p2p program like limewire but not limewire,shareaza,bearshare,or frostwire?
i have tried limewire, frostwire, bearshare and shareaza they all suck i just want to be able to download music and videos to put in windows media player i am running windows xp pro sp3 vista style

I suggest using a torrent program like Bitcomit, and then using a site like torrentpond.com to find the best locations for you to download the torrent. You would probably need a zip file program like WinZip to open some compressesd files.
If you want a p2p program like Limewire, I suggest soulseek. Google it.

Can I use my internet explorrer port (8080) for a P2P software such as shareaza?
I m behind router or firewall and i can surf internet using port 8080 so i want ask that can i use this port for shareaza or other P2P clint, if yes, than how?
you may need to open ports on your router go to www.portforward.com for full details on how to do this with your router and the program your using.

How do i get shareaza off my computer ?
i have uninstalled it off but it wants to changes my home page on the internet every time i go on the internet. i go and change it but it changes back to the shareazahomepage every time i want it off my laptop
trying doing a restore to your computer, do you remember how long ago you put shareaza on your computer…go to start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore and pick a date before you installed the shareaza and your computer will get rid of anything from that date forward…….

What is the difference between Shareaza 5.0 and earlier versions?
I just downloaded shareaza because needed a new p2p program. I saw it on someone elses computer and it looked similar to Limewire but version 5.0 is more like iTunes and is confusing to use. Is it still the same kind of program as the older one.

Why is Shareeza not working for me?
I can’t seem to get Shereeza to work for me. I have used it before to find new songs and try new music. It use to work just fine. I don’t think I changed anything on it. Is there a cap of how many songs you can download and listen to? anyone use shareeza? Any Ideas are helpful! thanks! Cheers!!!

Could you be more specific about how it is not working?
Are you getting an error message? Are the files corrupted?

Shareeza - unable to find music?
Someone asked me to be specific so I will try. I can open it up and get in. I can go to search and type in what I am looking for. It then says ‘shareeza is actively searching the network’ but NOTHING is coming up. I have typed in various things, and I know something should ahve come up but nothing does. Do I need to clean out what I have in it? Is there something I need to change? like options or settings? It is frustrating because I want to find certain things and I can’t find anything. How can i download movies from Shareaza?
i put the name of the movie on search then i click video but the full movie doesn’t come out it says like 3:27 just like minutes. what do i do to get full movies?
If you want to download movies on shareaza you will end up without an internet provider and maybe with a big fine or in jail. If you arent tech savvy enough to understand Shareaza or understand that its to old to be using than you just shouldnt try.

Of course you could, just connect to the emule server and snag them. It might take a long time though. I wouldn’t worry too much about getting caught but I’m not saying it’s legal either.
