what is a good p2p program like limewire but not limewire,shareaza,bearshare,or frostwire?
i have tried limewire, frostwire, bearshare and shareaza they all suck i just want to be able to download music and videos to put in windows media player i am running windows xp pro sp3 vista style
a list or website would be great thanks
I suggest using a torrent program like Bitcomit, and then using a site like torrentpond.com to find the best locations for you to download the torrent. You would probably need a zip file program like WinZip to open some compressesd files.
If you want a p2p program like Limewire, I suggest soulseek. Google it.

Can I use my internet explorrer port (8080) for a P2P software such as shareaza?
I m behind router or firewall and i can surf internet using port 8080 so i want ask that can i use this port for shareaza or other P2P clint, if yes, than how?
you may need to open ports on your router go to www.portforward.com for full details on how to do this with your router and the program your using.

How do i get shareaza off my computer ?
i have uninstalled it off but it wants to changes my home page on the internet every time i go on the internet. i go and change it but it changes back to the shareazahomepage every time i want it off my laptop
trying doing a restore to your computer, do you remember how long ago you put shareaza on your computer…go to start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore and pick a date before you installed the shareaza and your computer will get rid of anything from that date forward…….

What is the difference between Shareaza 5.0 and earlier versions?
I just downloaded shareaza because needed a new p2p program. I saw it on someone elses computer and it looked similar to Limewire but version 5.0 is more like iTunes and is confusing to use. Is it still the same kind of program as the older one.

How can i download movies from Shareaza?
i put the name of the movie on search then i click video but the full movie doesn’t come out it says like 3:27 just like minutes. what do i do to get full movies?
If you want to download movies on shareaza you will end up without an internet provider and maybe with a big fine or in jail. If you arent tech savvy enough to understand Shareaza or understand that its to old to be using than you just shouldnt try.

My songs skip on my ipod - how do i change them to mp3 format using shareaza?
I get all my songs from shareaza and usually most of them skip when i try to play them on my ipod so what i used to do was change them to mp3 format using itunes. now that my itunes is screwd up (i don’t have it anymore) i put all my siongs on my ipod through shareaza. But how do I change them to mp3 format with shareaza? HELP!!!!

How can u configure shareaza,bittorrent etc to work with wi-fi networks like at the airport or a hotel?
Most "public" networks like those will have P2Ps blocked permanently.
It is not hard to spot the traffic, as they simply block all the servers that provide the indexing service it needs, and all the ports not associated with known functions like email and HTTP.

i have shareaza software for downloading movies but am only geting like 2 or 3 downloads at once why? how can i set it up to get more downloads at once?
