Have any of you downloaded Shareaza 4?
I was recently prompted via shareaza 2.2.5 to download the brand new version and i accepted it, as i always do. The problem is that this "version 4" looked much different from the previous ones and did not recognize my partial dowload files. It also didn’t allow me to download anything than movies and music. Dang!
So i googled for reviews of this new and suckish version and founded out that this thing was nothing but a SCAM that installs malware in your system!!! Obviously i deleted it (and the mp3 file that i got from it) right away and, after doing so, i ran my Avast anti-virus and it didn’t detect any threats…
My question is: should i format my pc anyway just to be sure it won’t give me a headache in a near future? Have any of you experienced the same?
You never need to format your computer unless you feel that your system is not running fast or the applications doesn’t work properly, you’ve scanned your computer and found nothing
and now? does your computer works as usual as it was.
If not so, install another virus scan pro,
Suppose you erased your windows , later on you encountered such case, are you going to erase it agian ? ofcourse not, re-installing, upgrading windows constantly causes bad sectors on your harddisk, in my opinion I prefer not to format your windows unless it deserve to do so. Hope I answered the question.
